Aqaba New Port (2013)

Contractor BAM International awarded Gulf Cobla the dredging and reclamation works for the Aqaba New Port Project in Jordan. This port is being constructed on the border line with Saudi Arabia and involves dredging of 800,000 m3 sand and rock and the construction of 800 mtr quay walls. The development of this port by the Aqaba Development Corporation will be an important boost to the county’s economy.
